Egypt’s LNG Exports Expected to Resume by December or January: Eni’s Global Gas Director

Egypt is expected to continue exporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) by December 2023 or January 2024 as the country’s domestic consumption decreases in winter and as Egypt receives more gas from Israel, Reuters quoted Cristian Signoretto, director for ENI’s global gas and LNG portfolio, on the sidelines of a conference in London.
“Consumption in Egypt is reducing and we would expect by December, possibly January (LNG), exports could resume,” Signoretto stated.
