HELLENiQ Energy Acquires 6 Photovoltaic Parks in Cyprus

HELLENiQ Energy has revealed its acquisition of six photovoltaic parks in Cyprus, a development that will increase the total capacity of its renewable energy sources portfolio to exceed 40 MW in Cyprus, SolarQuarter reported.

The strategic acquisition was closed by its subsidiary HELLENiQ Renewables, marking the group’s fifth international renewable energy resources investment and its second in the Cypriot market.

The movement is believed to bring an additional 43 GWh per year of renewable electricity, boosting the total annual output to 68 GWh.

The acquisition comes in line with HELLENiQ Energy’s Vision 2025, aiming to solidify the company’s position as an energy leader.

The newly acquired parks will be gradually integrated in the upcoming five months, upon the completion of the shares transfer process.
