Srbijagas, DEPA Sign MoU for Cooperation on Natural Gas Sector
The Serbian gas company Srbijagas and the Greek gas firm DEPA Commercial have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in natural gas and ensure the security of supply for both markets, according to a statement issued by Srbijagas.
The MoU was signed by Srbijagas’ General Manager Dušan Bajatović, and his counterpart from DEPA Commercial Konstantinos Xifaras.
The agreement stated that the cooperation will include buying and selling, optimizing the use of transport capacities, and the possibility for Srbijagas to use the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Greece.
Additionally, the cooperation will cover natural gas storage and capital investments in the sector.
